Is the company responsible for a persons addictions with their products,Example,a person starts smoking they know about the risks, and they choose to do it anyway, something happens and they sue the company?

I feel that the companies are only responsible if they lied or intentionally missled the consumers regarding the safety of their product.

thats how I feel to,but(sorry if your not american)I recently heard of a man,who in alabama sued a company for not having something in their handbook and he won, normaly I might agree to this but he sued the company that made the rv on the account that umm let me just say what happened.A man driving his rv on the interstate, put it on crusie-control,went to the back and made some coffee, the rv crashed, and he sued ,for some reason he won.thats crazy:bugeye:

i agree

the argument is that not only did they advatise it as safe, cover up reserch that its harmfull but they knew it was ALSO adictive so that even when people KNOW what its doing they cant stop
