The crucial question is,
Is Jesus a dictator or a messenger?

A dictator makes up rules which other must follow.

A messenger simply states the rules that are in power, but has no part in making the rules.

If one reads the New Testament one is struck by the abundance of explanations of the way thins are. Some of these explanations are cruel. So it is important to know if Jesus made these things up for himself or if a cruel system is behind it all, where Jesus just reports the facts.

M*W: If Jesus ever lived, he was a messenger. The rules he is credited for making were actually written by Paul of Tarsus. No one really knows what, if anything, Jesus ever said. If you do research on Paul, you'll know who the cruel one was. The guy was an epileptic lunatic--a zealot. Jesus, if he existed, was a Rabbi and nothing more. The guy who hung on the cross was Bar Abbas (translated Bar="Son of" Abbas="the Father." You do the math. Welcome to sciforums!

SwedishFish a teacher and a messenger in this case are the same. Just say, God has got information and told Jesus to tell it to the people. And so a teacher is told by the Department of Education to go to a school and tell their information. THEY ARE THE SAME THING.

Meanwhile, I'd say that Jesus had no information at all and therefore couldn't be either.
