As a random note, I happened to come across a Christian forum wherein a poster noted that August 9, 2004, marked 666 days until June 6, 2006.

I know, I know. I don't get what's important about it, either.

I don´t know, only important thing seems to be the fact that only 666 days remain until the date 6/6/06... Perhaps the devil will appear on that date? I don´t know, neither do I care.

It always amazes me, the same 'Christians' who vehemently declare that the book of Revelations is figurative take the number 666 (if it is even to be interpreted as such) to be literal.
