Sometimes. Personally I think funny ones are the best. If they aren't going to make me laugh out loud, don't call me.

Scott Adams doesn't do politics either because they are too locally flavoured. your audience is bigger if you avoid politics.
That said, science politics could be compared to office politics i guess. And Dilbert got famous because of the office life. In fact Scott mentioned that he started focusing on the office aspect because people thought the comic was about that, although in reality at that point in time it wasn't.

The best comics I enjoyed were about a character who said absolutely nothing.

Can't wait till shichimenshyo finishes some cartoons. I would love to see them. It's always nice to see a cartoon develop.

killjoy would be a good cartoonist. He has a weird sense of humour and has already shown to have the talent to combine this humour with weird visualizations = cartoons.

today's comic saw the introduction of another deep character. a chicken.
However, today's episode is a bit below the average quality, and tomorrow's will be even worse. The one after that will be extremely funny again (pffft).
