If I had a lot of money and influence, I would make an effort to confront different religions.
I would organize panel discussions between religious leaders, scholars and other prominent figures of different religions; I would organize public campaigns to raise awareness of these issues.
I would give "interreligious discussion" a whole new dimension and role.

I believe people have the right not to be confused or mislead by religion.
I believe people have the right not to be placed into absurd situations by proselytizers where they have to decide about which religion is the right one.

I would confront the Protestants and the Catholics, the Muslims and the Christians, everyone who goes around telling people "I know God and you should do as I tell you".
I would provide public space for the airing and confrontation of their exclusivist claims.
I would make public the absurd dilemmas that so many people have to face when they try to choose the right religion for themselves.

I believe run-of-the-mill people should not have to suffer from the feuds between different religions and their respective exclusivist claims.

I believe religion should be taken seriously, as opposed to being something that people cannot choose but on a whim or gamble.

There should be one nation, one religion, under God (if there is one). And not this multi-religious mess we have now.

They already have been doing that for many years on different TV stations , I guess that those stations aren't being shown where you live. There have also been debates broadcast as well between different religious people if your not aware about that.

That's why education is so important, it lets you understand about researching things on your own to find out what you need to know about any religion. Anyone trying to proselytize to me would be just ignored and I'd walk away from them if they wouldn't walk away from me.

You can do that already. You are here at this forum expressing anything you want, freely. Anyone can find many public forums just like this that they can express whatever they want to without impunity.

Those are your opinions and you are expressing them now aren't you? So you really don't need allot of money or influence to say whatever is on your mind do you? Everyones entitled to either believe or not in anything they would care to but many aren't given the opportunity to be educated as to what other religions are all about but are only brainwashed into believing what someone tells them. But that's what religions are about anyway, being brainwashed into believing a certain way or in a certain god.

I would either give a lot of money to a local church and get on their board of directors or buy a closed church and reopen it as a soup kitchen/food pantry for everyone. In either case, I would offer free meals to anyone who wants it on a regular basis- and not that Hamburger Helper shit- good stuff- I would hire a chef.

You're not going to change people's opinions so the most effective thing you can do is give to all that need it.

i don't think it would take any money, but i'd render it obsolete.

Nothing. I have better uses for money than using it to evangelise

But you already have your religion. Many people don't, and are smothered by religious diversity and the hostile attitude of organized religion to newcomers.
And also by the hostile attitudes of those who claim to know God but who are not part of organized religion.
