Just one of many examples.
Why the heck do drive up ATMs have brail on them? I don't believe we have blind drivers, do we?

Anybody have another example like this to add for discussion?

no, we do not have blind drivers, but we DO have blind pedestrians.
not all drive up ATM users are in cars.

Besides, wouldn't it be wasteful to make two different keypads, one for drive-throughs and one for everywhere else?

How about:
Why bother putting nutritional content information on packages of food that has no nutritional value?

What do you expect? That ATM manufacturers will employ people to scrape off the braille from the keypads for every ATM that will be installed as a drive-though?

Or do you expect that they'll have a separate plant to manufacture special braille-less keypad ATMs?
