Funny you mention that. I have been keeping all the parts removed from me over the years, in case my body ever gets caught in a wood chipper and I need to build a new one.

My stockpile didn't get as big as I expected, since I'm normally pretty careful with my body, especially around wood chippers.

I think my collection included:
  • wisdom teeth (4 units)
  • ponytail (1 foot)
  • fu manchu moustache (2 units x 4")

I had a wisdom tooth pulled 10 years ago but no replacment... luckly i still have 3 of my wisdom teeth left

Wife had a cataract removed a few weeks ago... an the replacment part they installed allowed her to get her driver license ammended to not bein restricted to glasses for the first time ever :)
$3,500.!!!

My main problem has been with removal of BCC over RIGHT buttock

Started off this size

G.P. took biopsy said was BCC but his O.T. to small to excise, needed a hospital size O.T.

Booked for Darwin Hospital O.T. then the broken hip happened and it was delayed

Finally it was excised (fairly deep as well)

Sitched up at end of op

Some days later I thought stiches been in a bit long so I asked when they were coming out

Came back with stich remover and dressing tray. I remarked Only take out every other stitch

But she took all out leaving it like this

Total hip replacement surgery video about 4 minutes

Forgot to mention how little pain I had on waking up. Seems I had / have a pain patch which applied to the shoulder releases pain relief medicine through the skin

Replaced every 7 days and additional relief can be given orally if required

Never had such a system when I nursed

Got pain? - quick shot Pethidine

New system much better

Apart from pain relief tabs given on discharge, was given a heap of labels which explains why leg will set off metal detector at airport

:)

Still have all my wisdom teeth, but short one kidney.

Just me plus a fake smile that I use for wet workB-)

With gaps in the teeth as I can't afford dental work...
