Geeks read the Journal of Irreproducible Results, laugh at technical/scientific jokes, and always make sure the tolerance bands of resistors are on the same side of any boards they construct. Geeks like to get drunk and discuss obscure technical ideas.

Sounds like me. Here's an exaple:

Friend: I have the internet to. (Or something like that, I was drinking)
Me: Oh wait, you have aol?
Friend: Yeah, what's the matter with aol?
Me: Just that it doesn't support java. *Laughs and everyone looks sharply at me* What?

a bit disappointing really, just when i start to embrace my geekness I discover im only about 37% geek.

MY WHOLE IDENTITY IS CRUMBLING AROUND ME!

Fun test though, they were quite thorough.

I wallow in my own geekiness. Others Wallow in it as well. I was suprised at the overwhelmingly large number of affirmative answers I had to give. Here I was thinking that I'm not too big of a geek, yet all the things that I used to identify myself as not being such, were pale in comparison with the evidence to the contrary.

I'm not taking that damn test. It's way to long and the guys didn't even make it cool. You'd think a geek test would at least have star trek theme music playing in the background or something. Christ man, nerd me while I'm proving my nerdiness damnit!

Geeks don't need artificial stimulous. Maybe this is the difference between a geek and a nerd, stimulation?

i liked the music for the older episodes of ds9 alot more than the later ones. THE MUSIC HAS BEEN DEFILED!!!! it sounds like some guy in the background is beating a pan with a stick and all the notes start b4 the others even finish. what the hell were these people thinking?

I can, but as the overlord I expect to be catered to damnit. Like the nerds can't recognize ME by IP. Puh leez.

It's like they don't even know I'm in charge. :rolleyes:
 
Take the test Wes. Only then can we determine who is fit to wear the mantle of Geek/Nerd Overlord.
