Some time after Jesus rose, he was seen 'talking' to Moses and Elias. How did the observers identify Moses and Elias, given that Moses was over one thousand years and Elias nine hundred years before the time of Jesus. If they overheard the three talking why is there no account of what was said? Is there transcript of the talk?

The point is, God is the God of live beings and not the death ones, implying their sole is alive.
After a really heavy party night out can you really identity who was talking to who and what was said?
How did the observers identify the people who were talking to Jesus as Moses and Elias ?

If I remember correctly, the "observers" were asleep.
Jesus must have introduced Peter, James and John to Moses and Elijah. These three heavenly figures, Jesus, Moses and Elijah communicate with each other via talk. Soul to soul ??
