Yes the typical liberal democrat, pj and tell the people to STFU.

Except the democrats aren't all that liberal

Yes amusing, and you want to accuse me of being partisan?

any proof for this wild allegation or do we just have to take your golden word for it.

Yes, all you have to do is read the news accounts, and watch the YOU Tube videos, no one was injured until SEIU and Acorn showed up at the town halls and started busting heads.

Its not as bad as you make it out because she was in fact asking questions on behalf of actual doctors.

No, She claimed to be a doctor to enhance Her street creds, just how bad is that, and you want to call me partisan, yes really.

So your complaint is they have decided to act like conservatives? and you really should go out and meet some liberals

So you admit that they are acting like conservative in your eyes, and in your eyes conservatives are the scum of the earth, so what does that tell you? yes you just called it.....

I could tell you but I don't need a vacation just yet.

I don't remember the name of the gentleman who utter these words but they seem very approporate, " If you can find money to kill people, you should be able to find money to save people.".

If the healthcare in socialized countries were as bad as the Republicans and their healthcare masters are representing to Americans, don't you think healthcare would be at least a hot topic of discussion in those countries? Why is healthcare not an issue in countries with socialized medicine if it is as bad as what is being represented to Americans?

Perhaps folks should look at the Sicko documentary.

http://www.videosift.com/video/SiCKO-Full-Documentary

Perhaps people should be asking why are Americans crossing the border to get healthcare services?

By the way, there is an example of a little girl who died. She was a Kaiser insured who was critically ill and services at a non Kaiser Hospital were withheld because of insurance. The young girl was transfered to a Kaiser Hospital and died upon arrival at the Kaiser Hospital. I have wittnessed similar events during my tenure as a paramedic years ago. If you are/were a Kaiser insured it was very difficult to get treatment at any hospital other than a Kaiser Hospital.

I prefer socialized medicine, but it's worth nothing that anti-Americanism motivates a lot of opinion. That was always a bad thing about Canada: the unrelenting hatred for everything south of the border. It was always thick enough to eat with a fork. Most people need to take a more objective view on matters of health care, and everything else.

You'd have to be Canadian to understand.

The Canadian health system is one of the best in the world : you see any doctor without paying a cent, you go to any hospital without paying a cent for all kinds of tests, if you can not afford medicine or if you are not insured for drugs, you get government help . So what is bad with all that ?!!!.

joe, i wonder if thats why US ambos carry so much more equiptment than we do. After all in the cities we are maybe 5 min from a hospital, if a pts trapped it might be 10 min till we can have a retreval team at there location with blood products and the ability to basically do surgury on the side of the road if needed.

You guys, well it depends which insurance company you have as to which hospital you can go to ect.

Also all our trauma centers, and our major hospitals ect (ie the ones you want to be in in a true emergency) are public. The private hospitals are quite minor (post op recovery, minor surgury ect)

Well one thing is certian our Canadian and European friends and allies have been the butt of a lot of Republican lies since Obama decided to pursue healthcare reform in the US...my apologies.

Republicans and their healthcare industry masters are trying to tell us that Canadians and Europeans are abused and unhappy with their healthcare systems.

I am, Nietzche. I grew up in Canada, minus a few years right at the start.

And I understand and I don't understand. It makes sense sometimes and it doesn't. The mouse that hated the elephant.

Troll.

...the US...
Lying troll.

My point is not to demonize government run healthcare...
Troll for dinner sounds good tonight.

Just because you can carve jewelry out of dried shit doesn't mean that you should wear it or flaunt the fact that you do so. The American healthcare system is shit, our output of medical innovation is laughable, and it's all your fault.

Grew up huh? That tells me a lot. Where? How long? etc.

Work for an american company, deal with american tourists at your job, then get back to me. You read anything I said, care to comment on any of the problems Canada has to deal with? U.S breaking free trade agreements, traipsing around in our territory? Anything or just dismissive comments?

France has the best healthcare system in the world. They're not very humble about it, but I guess a broken clock tells the right time twice every day. Canada isn't much better than the US, all things considered.

Ontareeeeeeio! A place to live, a place to grow. A place that despises To-ron-to! Remember the tourism song? Thirty years of fun and friendliness. Weeelll, twenty. I was in LA for a while, then Quebec, and now Penn. Family's still there.

Work for an american company

I does.

, deal with american tourists at your job

Just the regular academic Yanks.

, then get back to me.

Just dismissive ones. You're taking gripes and making them into yourself. Chill out. It's not all one thing, and there are nuances to everything. The US beats on Canada's softwood, Canada gets them on something else. Back to health care now?

As a Canadian I have a HUGE beef with the Canadian health care system. With both the quality of it, and the terrible wait times.

Over the last 13 years, only ONE time did I get excellent treatment. I don't know how it is in America other than reading conflicting accounts from 2 partisan camps, but I can tell you that in Canada it's SH1T.

Some areas are better than others, obviously, but overall I'd give it a D-.
