actually, geoff.....the word "nation" SPECIFICALLY refers to a people, in the context being discussed.
but foley, being a religious expert would already know this. and i, someone who makes a living through religious research and translation of biblical text wouldnt know anything about it. *shrug*

Where does it say that the followers of Islam are a C-H-O-S-E-N--P-E-O-P-L-E , take my quote , that I provided , read it and see where God identifies a specific nation ISRAEL and names the JEWS as his C-H-O-S-E-N--P-E-O-P-L-E . i showed you islamic sites in which particular muslims claim that g-d took the honor away from jews and gave it to muslims.
using your logic that all israelis are responsible for what is going on in the ME, you MUST accept that as proof, or admit you are wrong about israelis.
by the way...i did some digging, and found some forums that used to have a user named "brian foley" from australia on them....interesting some of the posts i read in which you use the words "evil jews", and "nazi jews"...i thought you never said anything like that?

Sura 3,verse 33;
"Allah chose Adam and Nuh and the family of Ibrahim and the family of 'Imran over all other beings."
every muslim source i can find states that this verse applies directly and solely to arab muslims.
