exactly what i said:

"His Majesty's Government believe that the framers of the Mandate in which the Balfour Declaration was embodied could not have intended that Palestine should be converted into a Jewish State against the will of the Arab population of the country. [...] His Majesty's Government therefore now declare unequivocally that it is not part of their policy that Palestine should become a Jewish State."

again-the arabs refused the white paper.

In favor of a binational state with equal rights for all religious groups.

you never give up? stop lying.
The Arab Higher Committee argued that the independence of a future Palestine Government would prove to be illusory, as the Jews could prevent its functioning by withholding participation, and in any case real authority would still be in the hands of British officials. The limitations on Jewish immigration were also held to be insufficient, as there was no guarantee immigration would not resume after five years. In place of the policy enunciated in the White Paper, the Arab Higher Committee called for 'a complete and final prohibition' of Jewish immigration and a repudiation of the Jewish national home policy altogether.

they refused because it wasnt enough, not because they gave a fuck on the jews. as far as they were concerned, all the european jews could die in the holocaust. after all, they hate us because we came from europe and curved our country out of palestine, right?

Yeah but they did say that the Jews who were there in 1947 would be considered Palestinians.

And yup, a Jewish state is not democratic. They wanted a democratic binational state with equal rights for all.

Its the same as if the UN did with Palestinians today, giving all Palestinians the right of return.

the white paper is dated 1939, and its says nothing on a binational state, its says the arab will be the majority, controlling the number of jews. and why did the arabs refused it? because they didnt want any more jews altogether.

Yeah they rejected the white paper in favor of a binational state.

Why should they want millions of Jews from Russia and Europe?

They were willing to keep the ones who were there in 1947, according to their demands of the UN.

maybe they wanted to buy time until no jews were left in europe, and then finish of the rest in israel. 1939 is the year the war and the holocaust started.

that sure explains why they rejected the idea of a jewish state.

Utter rubbish. No one knew the extent of the holocaust in 1939. In 1947, they were willing to accept all the Jews who were already there. The Israelis are not even willing to make that distinction. They give no right of return to ANY Palestinians.

so utter rubbish they cooperated with the NAZIS, and wanted to gas the jews in israel, just like their NAZI allies.

if they wanted a binational state, why they didnt want more jews then? makes you wonder what they have against them? the jews from europe are less then the jews who are already there? doesnt sound like a bi state to me.

Everyone cooperated with the Nazis, pretty much like most people support Israeli policy today.

ironic isnt it. the palestinians cooperated with the nazis, planned to finish off the jews in israel, refused the white book that would eliminate any hope for an independent jewish state, and now they claim that israel creation made them victims of the holocaust.

It is interesting that the White paper of 1939 seemed to already realize that Palestine/Israel was destined to be a disaster.

Something is missing from the White Paper or from the copy of the White Paper that I got from Wikipedia. I don't see a proposed structure for the government that would be created that would defend the rights of Jews and Arabs in Palestine/Israel.

The Wikipedia interpretation of the Jewish (Ashkenazi Israeli) and Palestinian reaction says that both groups opposed the White paper. The only thing Palestinians and (soon to be) Israelis ever agreed on is that they both wanted the British gone from Palestine/Israel.

The Palestinians might regret not supporting the White Paper if they thought about it now. It sounds like a better deal for them than the 1948 partition was.

Where are the details about how Israel/Palestine was supposed to be governed if Jews and Arabs supported the White Paper?
