Gotu Kola, Arthiritis & Rheumatism

Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica - a plant) works well against Arthiritis, Rheumatism ...etc. There are so many articles on the internet about it. I also know of people who have mentioned that Gotu Kola is relieving their pains. There are also lot of other benefits too.

Is anyone know how this leave (or tablet made out of the leaves) reduces pains ?

I am not sure, but I read once, (and now I can't find this) this plant hn.elps to stabilize membrane and ergo the deterioration of membranes in the joints and brain.
