"The famous 19-meter tall statue of Jesus at the Solid Rock Church near Monroe, Ohio, known as 'King of Kings' and 'Touchdown Jesus', has been destroyed by a fire after being struck by lightning. The metal frame is all that remains of the styrofoam and fiberglass statue."

So does this means gods disgust of idolatry is true?

most likely, but you know they'll blame it on satan and rebuild the goddamn thing.

No, just that it isn't very smart to build a lightning rod and expect it not to get struck in tornado alley.

That's some funny shit! :D:

jan.

What's even funnier is that they actually are planning to rebuild it. It won't be as expensive this time since they already have the frame. I suggest they build a real lightning rod on it this time. Perhaps a grounded crown of thorns made of metal?
