Gluttony mortality rate

A friend of a friend just died after having a gastric bypass surgery. I got curious, so I looked it up:

1. In 2005 about 150K such surgeries were performed.

2. The mortality rate after a month is about .5-2%....

So if I go with a 1% death rate, that is 1500 Americans dying each year because they are fat like a pig!!! More deaths than the casualties in Iraq or of course caused by marihuana overdose. (which is zero)

So if food is this dangerous to you, shouldn't it be illegal???

hmm, i think pot is illegal becasue of the addictive qualities. not chemical addiction but mental addiction that is. I guess you could say the same about food.

Well, my point here is that everyday 4-5 Americans die because they are fucking lazy to move.

Or rephrasing it: they eat themselves to death....
