Please list all the things it is not good for.Wood really isn't good for much.
That is simply absurd. Most houses where I live are almost completely wood frame.Wood really isn't good for much. It doesn't make strong houses or good boats,
Everyone?and who uses paper anymore.
Maybe in your fantasy land we can grow computers on trees?Shouldn't we be growing taco plants or pizza trees in hydroponic pods? PB&J bread. Yes, - the new hybrid bread with peanut and fruit DNA.
Wrong on all counts.Wood really isn't good for much. It doesn't make strong houses or good boats, and who uses paper anymore.
Wood really isn't good for much.
it's good for almost nothing
Right. And some of that carbon is released as CO2. Most of it, however, remains in the cellulose, because that's hard to break down. Eventually much of it becomes dirt, which also stores a lot of carbon. Of the wood we use, much of it ends up in landfills, which will store that carbon for decades. What I find strange about "Greenies" and the Use Wood movement (from sustainable forest) because wood stores nasty carbon dioxide
Have they not figured out the carbon dioxide is released when wood rots
And it rots fairly quickly
Fortunately it's a net negative - the more wood you grow, the more CO2 is removed from the atmosphere. So we store the carbon dioxide in trees so we can chop them down to rot and let it go again?
... the response I got was about trees?
Shouldn't we be growing taco plants or pizza trees in hydroponic pods? Yes, - the new hybrid bread with peanut and fruit DNA. Sound anything like genetic engineering? I don't know: 5 sentences. Too much, or too little? Ok, lets take the first sentence, and try to turn the question into something stupid. Mission accomplished.Does it occur to you that, if you have an idea or thought you'd like to share, perhaps the responsibility to ensure that thought is understood lies - not with us - but with you?
