The ability to edit and repair defective genes is about to enter human trials. It has been successfully tested in animals, and now a company is about to embark upon human trials. This is revolutionary. For the first time in human history, if this is successful, humans will have the ability to repair defective genes. This could cure a host of diseases including cancer and diabetes.
