gambling

CUT your losses. In the long run you will ALWAYS lose because the odds are in the house's favor

Look the best way to do it is to deside how much you want to spend. take that out in cash and leave your wallet at home. then you can't spend more than you can aford

Gambling is dumb unless if the reward is greater than the risk. In casino you always lose in the long run.

My dad won $87 at the race track (we go every so often just for fun) on a $8 bet three days ago. You don't always loose. It's just bloody likely.

No. but you can mathematically prove that when the number of attempts approaches infinity, your end results becomes the risk/reward adjusted expected value.

In plain English, that means as the number of attempts increases in the long run, overall it is less likely for you to beat the odds. Overall and long run are the key words. Some people can get lucky if they just gamble a few times, but if your father is a habitual gambler, he is most likely to lose more than he gain in his entire lifetime.

I can't see why any educated people would gamble except for fun.

gambling is stupid, your average joe will lose more in a lifetime than win. i never gamble. gambling is a capitalist tool.

I think I have only been in a couple of casino's in my life, didn't even gamble. I might try slots once, but gambling isn't high on my things to do list :D

This guy at work had to sell his brand new truck cause of gambling debts, poor sap :D Another fella is always hiding, apparently he owes some people some money. I think he's currently in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer. Hmmm, must worry him a bit huh? :D

chips

when I run out of chips: then I go to the nightstore and buy me some more,...preferrably with a beer and a good video,...

If they don't have chips, then I'll go for any other snack that tastes good with beer,.....

If they don't have beer (they never run out) then I'll go to my homestead and have a pint,...

If my homestead is closed,....ah,....now I'm horrified,...but my mind will be off the missing-chips-problem,....
