Did you know that 'Gun' is a common name for women in Sweden? Or that if you're named Phyllis Foster, the direct translation to Swedish is Drunk Featus? Or worse, if you're Miss Foster, then you are a Freak, or Mutant Featus. :D
So what's the story with other languages, anybody with funny translations?

Embarizado means pregnant in Spanish so if someone is trying to say I am embarassed but makes the word embarassed by adding an 'o they are saying they're pregnant.
 
Guisseppe Verdi is a famous composer but in english his name would be Joe Green which loses a little something.

In Yugoslavia (As was) for dessert you would be offered 'Crap' Which is a type of cake. I'm not sure if it was spelled that way but it was a hoot in the restaurant.
