this will work only for polyurethane. most plastics are other types.

i would suggest legislation to require certain types of plastics to be biodegradable; coupled with an extensive reclamation program where the plastic can be burned (used for its oil content) for energy. coupled with a bio-planting program to recover the CO2.
 
Well, you i just had a problem with fungi in the garden had to fight it all summer long, i am not looking forward to the development of any new fungis, i personally think that it could get out hand and causes problems. for example we had this squash that not only made squash fruit but it produced fungis, it was a mutant. something that you might use for agricultural warfare.

How many mutations would be produced by these new fungus products.
