I'm drunk and curious, a dangerous combination. So I was wondering...

The British have frolicking nymphs and politicians being spanked.

The Japanese (at least according to their animated shows) have a thing for school uniforms.

Australia (well, this Australian) has a thing for pretty much anything even vaguely resembling a female humanoid.

Germans... Well, let's not get into that.

So what do other nations have?

the swiss have a thing for hot chocolate.

america had a thing for baseball hot dogs and nascar
which all suck

I was thinking more along the lines of naughty bits

If you would believe that Hollywood reflects the American dreams, then I would say that it is women running around either naked or with their tits hanging out. Men rarely do such.

The Netherlands is known as the country with mills and where cheese is coming from. And flowers. They have large fields where they grow flowers and people from a lot of countries are coming to visit them., in Spring and Summer, when all the flowers are in bloom. :) :)

Oh and now I almost foret the wooden shoes. Every foreigner buys them when they are visiting The Netherlands. In fact it is not true at all. Only the famers use wooden shoes when working on their Land.

And there are not so many mills as people think... :)

America, in movies at least. We have a thing for Evil chicks and then crazy hero chicks, especially in tight leather.

I don't think you can summerise Britain like that coz its four seperate countries

Going from gossip - of which i am an expert i would say girls in Scotland was mostly into

Outdoor sex, toys, dressing up, threesome(2g1b&2b1g) lesbian experimentation, spanking, sex with foreigners, sex with older men, sex with friends, SAFE sex and the schoolgirl thing - same as everywhere else i'd expect.

What is the thing with hot chocolate tho...?

Okay, Tyler, you've scared me.

Hmmm, Americans go in for a lot of things. All mentioned, but the California Girl(tm) has yet to be mentioned:

Blonde (usually), athletic, tanned and sexually liberated. Fairly cheerfull, 'sunny personality'. Likes cars and follows sports.

Definitly Cactus' 'hero chicks'. 'Warrior women'. She's either a female gunslinger (yeah, women and guns - how American) ala Sharon Stone in 'The Quick and the Dead' or a warrior woman type - Pam Anderson in Barb Wire, Lara Croft... or a fighter - Xev in Lexx.

You've watched 'Lexx', Adam? Do they show a show called 'Farscape' before it? They do here. Sucks, IMO, but Aryn Soon is the archetype.

Bi-curious coeds too.

DOI! I'm an idiot! I forgot the Naughty Catholic Schoolgirls(tm).

Well, of course one can never quite forget naughty Catholic schoolgirls. ;)

In conclusion, Americans' tastes' are all over the board. Not much of a 'fragile delicate flower' thing here anymore, that ended loong ago.

Haha. I think our fantasies are mainly the same as American ones. Except for the 'western' tough-gal. We'd prefer more the Canadiana type tough girl. Or, as stated, the catholic school girl. Or, as stated, the bi-curious co-ed.

Which ones farscape?? Is that the one with the women whos actually a plant and the blue girl???

If yes we get that here but not Lexx - also get Supermen the Early Years which is Awful!!!

Bebelina
Burlesque? Show off! :p

Xev
Yep, we get Farscape, with the groovy blue alien girl. I think Bebelina has a thing for you. :p

Inka
As above. We got one series of Lexx here, which I caught on video.

Adam....

...Lots of girls (and Guys) have a thinng for men in uniform - maybe you should put your sailor-boy picture as your avatar and make everyone happy - teehee!

Ink

Don´t get any ideas Adam....:p

To all of you non-swedes I can report that today we will burn huge fires, sing songs, fire off some occasional fireworks, drink alcohol( but not me, heavens no...) draw knives at eachother and tomorrow we will demonstrate on the streets shouting political slogans and waving two-stick-flags.
It´s a custom.

Just an old tradition of celebrating the spring.
But the political marches the next day is not as old, but a tradition today anyway. I really don´t remember the original cause of it all. Although I was dragged through the marches my whole childhood, which resulted in a huge aversion against the phenomena, therefore I will never participate again.
