I'm kinda new to this joint. I just came off a board that was turning into mostly new-age bull*crap* and hokey religions.
I am a scientist by nature, though not by profession (so don't ask me what field). I have walked the gamut of the "paranormal" for so long that it is "normal" to me. I have lived what Chris Carter only dreams of. I have investigated ghosts, UFOs, alien encounters, and took off after what a friend of mine described as a Chupacabra. We never caught it, nor did I expect to. I suspect it was a wild dog in the darkness, but my friend is not convinced.
Something that does have me wondering is an incident that occurs to me with curious frequency. Rather than relate the story and influence anyone's reports, I would like to throw the ingredients out there and see if anybody comes up with what my questionable memory tells me happened.
1. A van.
2. A mountain road.
3. A cabin.
4. An old woman.
5. Passengers in the van.
6. A navigator.
7. A dentistry-like chair.
I believe this should be all the information necessary to jar the memory of anyone who may have been there, which is what I am looking for. I know I wasn't alone.
I am not freaked out, and I get plenty of my namesake. Of all the incidents of this nature that have happened in my life, this one is simply the most perplexing because I believe there are witnesses. The reason I am restricting the amount of information is, as I have said, to keep anybody from having false memories, intentionally or unintentionally. Consider it a "blind" test.
DISCLAIMER: I am not putting you on. I'm not setting anybody up for a big "ha-ha what a fool" deal. I just want to make sure that any information I get is uncontaminated.
Hey-I said I was a scientist.
