I assume that identical twins do not have identical finger prints, probably due to Chaos Theory considerations. For those unfamiliar with chaos theory: One of the concepts associated with it relates to processes with almost (not quite) the same initial conditions which can result in very large differences in future values.
Can a fingerprint expert recognize that two sets of finger prints belong to identical twins.? I do not think that DNA analysis can distinguish between twins, but am not sure of this.
A chinese character in a TV Western knew about the uniqueness of finger prints & convinced a jury that a defendant was innocent. He demonstarted the uniqueness of finger prints during the trial.
