Feeling shocked

Re-read the thread and your posts. While you did not use the word "stupid", you made things and your opinion of him quite clear.

He did not agree with your anatomical description of the reaction of shock, so be it. Instead of the long and varied descriptions of the major and minor pecs, you could have pointed out that there are ligaments and blood vessels that would play a major part in the tight feelings one feels when shocked, that do run across the middle of the chest. And for your information, the middle of the chest does not have any muscle going across it. The pecs are down either side over the rib cage. That was all he wanted to know.

Thanks Bells. You explained it ver well...er good enough. The funny thing is the he took everything else aside from the first post seriously. I was looking for something more specific and you gave it.

Also, i was interested in locating a web site that describes this in detail.
 
What concerns me most is that what i am talking about is not related to this fight or flight response. oh well.
