Would it be possible / reasonable to begin collecting DNA samples of all the species currently known on the Earth. Perhaps doing this now would help prevent future extinctions of our fun-loving animal friends?
What about the USA devising and managing such a program? Why not make every nation responsible for it? Also we could create a medical catalog of all diseases for that particular animal :shrug:
