I'm really quite seriously thinking of heading up to Alaska for a week or so in the near future (next week?), just to chill out and relax for a while. Has anyone ever been to Fairbanks? Is it worth it?
 
Ive never been, but a co-worker used to live there and said it was awesome. Its quite beautiful. Ive studied the area, I wanted to move there. But...
WARNING: There is a shortage of women!!!!! :D
 
Post some pictures when you get back. It seems to be a beautiful place. Have a good time there...:)
 
Once I had some friends who were from the area. They said it was very beautiful. Their father had some gold nuggets that they had collected from a stream up there somewhere. It sounded very nice but alas to cold for a Flordia boy.

If you do go I would certainly love to see some photo's of the area.
