For past few months i cannot seem to access torrents; it seems that comcast is blocking torrent access.

My question is, how can they assert as to what should be the content that reaches our PCs, If this were the case, then it should be the same in all of the "real" world businesses, you are stopping people from taking drugs (becoming a junkie ?) stop them from taking alcohol, cigs, block all porn industry out, ban all things like "prostitution" (which btw is still legal somewhere in Nevada, not sure exactly where (they show all the crap in HBO)) ...
Where do they stop?
Personally I am not much of a democrat, but frankly i like to see the choices i have for delivery of content, that way i can decide what is right and what is wrong from me. If i find out that the thing that i am downloading is illegal, i would stop! (i am not kidding, it matters to some people). Same goes on for lots of things; but we have to draw a line somewhere.
