I'm guessing this thread is appropriate for "Biology & Genetics"...I didn't know where else to put it.
My mother was diagnosed with endometrial cancer today and the doctor does not know yet what stage it is in, but thinks it is probably in the early stages. He's doing more testing tomorrow to determine that.
I've already done quite a bit of research and the prognosis for people with this type of cancer is generally good. I also know what treatments they use. But I don't know of anyone who has ever had this type of cancer. Does anyone know anyone who has had this before? And if you do know someone, is the person alive and well today? Any personal experience you have had with this would help ease my mind a little bit.
