Ebola in the Sudan

Yea I heard of this…crap…
I heard about it recently and so looked around for news reports, but I was quite surprised because I thought it was only a (major) problem in 2000, but Ebola never really went away -the news just stopped covering it. This new ‘outbreak’ is likely to be a different strain which is why it got coverage…

From October 2001 to December 2003, several EHF outbreaks of the Zaïre subtype, were reported in Gabon and the Republic of Congo with a total of 302 cases and 254 deaths: Mékambo-Mbomo-Kéllé 2001-2002, Kéllé-Mbomo 2003 and Mbandza-Mbomo 2003.
