The drugs aren’t the problem here. They had legal drugs and prostitution for decades with no problems. Any guesses as to what changed?

Amsterdam has long been known for several things, including its major hub airport, its fantastic fine art, its tourism, that it is a large hub for religions—loaded with missionaries, its legal and orderly prostitution, and its semi-legal “soft” drugs—though hard drugs are discouraged.
Most of all, Amsterdam was long known for its unusually friendly and helpful attitude. Returning to Australia after visiting there for a while in the 80's, and Australia felt strict, uptight, prudish, less friendly, and aggressive.
Immigrants have been changing Amsterdam, and not for the better.The Middle Eastern immigrants came for the extensive largess, and the Eastern European immigrants came to takeover legitimate “underclass” businesses and convert them to criminal enterprises, as they are in the rest of the world.
This means that Amsterdam was flooded with eastern European prostitutes, many of whom were coerced and threatened by their owners into illegal and unregulated prostitution; and they also tried to take over the drug trade, turning a small scale, semi-legal business, into the hard criminal enterprise based on hard drugs and violence.
Looks like there is a need for Geert Wilders.
