Don't you wish u could stop thinking about religion?

Don't you think sometimes that lifeee is waayyy to short to worry about which relgion is better than another, and What is the truth? I think that we should just live life, and accept everything that comes to us, and not think about things too much (it gets some people angry)... don't you think that this whole issue of religion is just an empty bottomless pitt that is ambigious and abstract in nature? Why couldn't our ancestors formed some sort of meeting or conference...and said THIS IS GOD, THIS IS WHAT THE WHOLE WORLD SHOULD BELIEVE, AND HERE IS THE PROOF, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU AFTER U DIE, WE ARE ALL HAPPY or just say that there isn't such thing as one...?????

Unfortunately, without some Moral Reflection by Somebody Sometime, Civilization would be impossible. The type of Thoughtlessness you would encourage would foster the most excessive Raping and Pillaging. With nobody ever thinking of the next moment, it would be impossible to keep the Seed Grain from one season to the next. No Surplus could be stored with nobody interested in showing the least degree of Moral Restraint. Indeed, without Religious Moral Reflection, we would only be another breed of Ape at war with all the other Apes in some extensive Jungle. As Hobbes said, Life would be "Solitary, Poor, Nasty, Brutish, and Short" ... the names of the 5 Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
