does testosterone cause acne

I was jsut wondering if testosterone causes acne, because the more you exercise, or masturbate the more acne you get.......

Girls get acne too, and not just lesbians (who have more testosteronbe than straight girls). So on the whole I would say no.

one theory i've heard is that acne is caused by an increased oil production of the skin (because it made our ancestors have shiny coats, and thus gave them a better chance of mating) so this led to a linkage between testosterone and acne
