I'm not sure if someone has posted this before or not, but I'm kind of curious.
Will bleach get dna off of something that you've touched?

Bleach NaOCl Sodium hypochloride is a strong oxidizing agent . Al depend of the concentration of the bleach . Normally DNA is covered with a coat.

Anyway I was curious because I used to watch a lot of crime movies and I started to wonder if it's really possible to get every trace a DNA off of something.

Crime movies/shows aren't real life.

I find it amazing how those TV CSI people can always find those perfect fingerprints. No smudges, no having to eliminate everyone elses, from the family who lived there, the friends who've visited, the various handy-men etc.
Just that perfect print.
