Did Christ have a Choice?

Yes, but he would have had to go live with his older rebellious brother, Downbelow.
And you know how jealous brothers in the OT treat one another.
Compared to that, crucifixion is a dawdle.

He chose to go the cross. Remember when he makes his disciples stand down and allow himself to be apprehended in order to reverse the sin of man.

Would it have been possible for Christ to refuse God's will?
According to the bible, yes. The bible reports Jesus as considering whether he would choose to go through the whole trial and crucifixion thing while waiting to be arrested in the garden of Gethsemane. It tells us that in the end he decided to go with God's will.

Can anyone resist the will of God?

If they choose to.
That’s what this temporary playground we call life, is for.

We can learn to resist the temptations that cause us to desire things that are of no spiritual benefit, or engage in it. It’s our choice.

The more we give in to temptation, the further away our conscious awareness is removed from the will of God.

When we resist the temptation, it can lead us to a state of diminished anxiety. In that state we can regain the ability to become God conscious.
