Hi all,
I am using the DGGE technique to look at bacterial communities in sheep milk. The last DGGE gel I ran had a smear in every lane of the gel (even where there was no sample in the well) that covered the top third of the gel. I was just wodnering if anyone else had a similar problem or any suggestion as to what could have caused this as it is the first time I have had this problem.
Thanks
