Aether stacks as all spherical stacking systems which often end up as an icosahedron. The icosahedron has a natural hexagon structure about its centre. The hexagon is a natural, fractal wave formation. So things that stack in hexagons have natural wave propagation. The Aether therefore propagates in a wave motion.. but doesn't move waves... propagates waves.

Go away, get an education.

It seems you didn't spend as much time on your aether idea as you did on the graphics.;)
