Dead flies?

Necrophilia, Cannibalism or First Aid? We have got an electric fly killer. And the dead flies collect at the bottom, then alive flies come along and do something with the dead. I know flies have very strange eating methods, so I'm not sure what I'm seeing. Any ideas?

Probably laying eggs. So I guess it is cannibalism.

If the fly did change it behaviour towards a fellow fly post-death. Then would on some level a fly have a concept to death?

The fly has a concept of food.

But how does the fly know the other fly is food and not another fly?

One is moving, the other isn't.
