"Today, modern Christians, like those at the newly founded, Creation Studies Institute, are spending almost a million dollars, and investing countless hours to gather the evidence needed to prove, without a doubt, to the secular scientific community, that the planet Earth was once populated with walking, talking snakes. "Christians have The Talking Snake Theory, and Atheists have Evolution," says Creation Scientist, Dr. Jonathan Edwards. "Only one can be correct. Sadly, until us Creation Scientists can prove that snakes once had vocal cords, I expect that them silly old hell-bound evil-lutionists won't take us seriously."

That is what science does , from both spectra, those who look for bones in the snake from the other side , they look for dark matter , Bs and Bs

You believe in evolution right? Even as a believer, I have.

The real tragedy isn't the desire to prove such nonsense but rather what could all that money and time do for those in need? Instead they wish to prove a point to the science community, what a waste.

Sad. :/

Yes they could build wells for water in the needy areas in Africa

But, the good Dr. Edwards referred to "evil-lutionists", not dark matter. "Christians have The Talking Snake Theory, and Atheists have Evolution"

Of course, there are a great deal of Christians who understand and accept evolution. The Pope, the Pope before him and the Pope before him, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the one before him and the one before him all took the time to understand evolution and accept it.

Even these upstanding holy men don't accept "The Talking Snake Theory" because they don't want to be considered scientifically illiterate to the rest of the world.

"The Talking Snake Theory is the second in a series of Creation Science books developed by Landover Baptist Pastor and Christian author, Pastor Deacon Fred. The first book, Donkeys Can Talk, People Can Fly and a Man Named Jesus Lives Up in the Sky introduced Bible based truths about Creation Science to teenagers and older children. The Talking Snake Theory has younger audience in mind. "

By the way I accept evolution and according to Genesis I see evolution , Talking snake I an not in favor of it ,

Sorry, but Genesis does not advocate evolution, quite the contrary. It propagates the notion of the creation of everything on earth as it looks today, as well as the Talking Snake Theory.

First come plant , the come fish, then come animals and finally come come man. what does that tell you , forget about the snake , that is not my version

It tells me someone doesn't understand evolution.

It's a good thing that Landover Baptist is a satire site, otherwise I'd be even more concerned about the state of America's education system than I already am. Then again, the fact that many people seem to believe this tripe is probably sufficient cause for concern.

Where do you get the rest of your version? The snake is part of Genesis.

Don't forget the part of your version where God put the sun, moon and stars underneath the big dome of water. Very crucial for plant life which btw was created a whole day before (millions of years?).

I don't take chapter 2 as happening but a metaphor explaining how man falls due to disobedience

How do you reconcile scientific evidence that points to evolution, against the story in Genesis? You can’t believe both Genesis as fact, and evolution as fact. The Bible doesn’t teach evolution. It teaches that God created the universe, man included, in 6 days. And scholars have battled the ‘meaning’ of six days, and have come to the conclusion that it literally means ‘6’ days. There’s no ‘room’ for evolution in that story.

First there is nothing by saying universe so you can take your atheist picture and wipe yourself. How about if you consider the earth was hot and steamy , The earth was rotating ( cycle day and night ) , cool off period ( separation of waters clouds and liquid ) , freeze water on poles ( produce dry land ) collision of other solar body
(produce a moon )

why don't you explain me , how mutation transforms life to adapt to survive in the new environment

Why don't you explain it? You're the one who believes it's all Bs, right? Surely, you have carefully taken the time to understand it if you believe it is Bs, yes?
