Courage not cowardice; balls not bluster

Oooh, boy. Well, you have a nice day.
?
You do realize that's exactly what happened, except months later and two cities full of schoolchildren burned - on top of the American dead.

For example, when the battle of Okinawa was fought the US had been keeping its bomb secret for months, had everything needed for Hiroshima on hand, and had chosen its targets. Furthermore, the production of the Hiroshima bomb had been debugged, and more could be made rather easily and quickly (later, when an emergency came up, that was done - eight to ten Hiroshima weapons were produced in a couple of months after the war, starting from incomplete plans, for special purposes).
The delay was for the Nagasaki design to catch up, so both could be dropped before any possible surrender. The battle of Okinawa was fought during that delay.

Courage takes many forms - as does lack of same.

Sorry, but that's bullshit. Have you read ANYTHING on this?
It's just a timeline. Where's the bullshit?
The hindsight claim that the Japanese would never have surrendered if they knew about the Bomb is
1) hindsight, nothing that could have been known at the time, Monday morning excuse mongering, and
2) refusal to acknowledge the fact that they did, in fact, surrender as soon as they knew about the Bomb.

Cowardice takes many forms. In the US, there was an opportunity for courage in the early months of 1945 - and we blew it. Truman was too small, too petty, too much a bully seeing opportunity. He had to bully Stalin, and if that meant sending American soldiers into Okinawa and burning schoolchildren alive in Hiroshima and Nagasaki - well, too bad.

Mental health issues are not contagious

however, there are instances where suicidal actions and or ideation in a person can trigger hopelessness or mass delusions which can subsequently induce others who are mentally stressed into suicidal ideation.

Mental health issues are not contagious
i do not have any clinal data, however i suspect they might be.

right down on the bottom end of things we have culture, and culture IS contagious.

cause & effect level process;
a cause is equal to the effect once the event has happened ? (in this instance)

examples like herd immunity are used to clinically define contagions(?)
vaccines ?

if... herd immunity is a scientific logical fact, then surely herd immunity can not be left out of the research ?

1- https://scholar.google.com - it's a good start to find studies

2- things like Mass Delusions can spread, but they're not contagious.

I'm not really sure what you're asking or relating this to?

Okay, so you haven't read anything.
It's a timeline. Why are you hiding from a timeline?
Did the US keep the Bomb a secret from the Japanese from when it had the gun fission design in hand until it could drop the plutonium design on a city: _yes _no.

Cowardice takes many forms. The United States has been crippled by its various refusals to face its past, and this is significantly relevant to the gun obsession endemic to American culture, aberrantly manifested in the crazed and rampaging as it may be.

"shared delusion" i think you are referring to ?
you are referring to the clinical discription ?

there is signifigant research on shared delusion.

thus given you are read on the clinical research and studys into shared delusion.
i come back to my question
"contagious ? " the contagion ?

if something can spread, is it contagious ? (note we are only referring to human to human).
are viruses/bacteria able to control human behaviour ?
is culture able to control human behaviour ?
is shared culture able to control human behaviour ?
is body language dynamics in group settings able to control behaviour ?

I'm not really sure what you're asking or relating this to?

i come back to my question
"contagious ? " the contagion ?

... how do we define the nature of what is contagious ?
more intensively ... RE Law.
is law a mechanism to prevent contagion ?(preventative)
or is law a mechanism to punish after the fact ?
is human behaviour devoid of contagious behaviours inside culturalmodels of group participation ?
can we see any examples of this already ? what about corporate environments where judicial reviews have declared the nature of culture being a detrimental driver of actions ?
or are they ?

is the mechanism of society non contagious by its projective laws and cultures ?
if so what is group association derived from on a litigious basis of forced compliance ?
purely optional ? that would be somewhat contentious ?

potential example
conversation on the sub prime global credit collapse.
the culture was suggested to be the detrimental activator and the individuals become victims of the culture.
which is why no one was sent to prison. no blame had been defined as individual as a process of damage to other individuals.
thus the disease was not only contagious but was also solely to blame.

when a company is found to be comitting fraud or damage the individuals are not blamed.
they are defined as victims of a culture that exists outside the basic ability to govern their own actions.
the atmospheric conditions that have "forced" the "actions" of individuals becomes the blame...

Timelines are based on facts. Unless you do it.

Enlighten me - in what order would you prefer those events to be listed?

You can start by not pretending to ignore the check:
Did the US keep the Bomb a secret from the Japanese from when it had the gun fission design in hand until it could drop the plutonium design on a city: _yes _no.

As/re post 119
in the vernacular
Who had the bigger balls?

...............................
I had read that the second bomb was more(of a show and tell) for the Soviets that the Japanese.
True?

What is your source for this assertion?

This was your response to the use of the word "balls" ?

Well—

Who had the bigger balls?

—duh.

Two notes go here:

(1) This thread is an example of the uselessness about trying to communicate with the firearms cult.

(2) As a queer male, I just don't get the masculine genital obsession that goes with the firearms cult; as pillow talk goes, it sounds pretty limp.

Seriously, though: Nutsacks, bombs, and what's wrong with women↑; yeah, actually, it does sound like a bunch of macho men talking about their guns.

Meanwhile, two points to go with the nutlust: One of the great jokes of television history was on Friends, when Monica walked into the scene picking her girlfriends pubic hair out of her teeth; as much as I want to say it could have been done a bit more subtly, there is also the point that it was a sitcom during a period when subtlety was anathema. And on that point, no, duct tape is not suitable for depilation.

I think his one of them old fashion gays that take every occasion to tell people his gay.

It's usually women which come out with stuff about big boys and their big cars and big guns. So, what are you? You got me confused.

superficially looking at the application of religous programming of children as a norm in the usa...
so is heterosexualism.
heterosexualism is also forced on children in the usa as a norm.

it is no surprise to see homosexuality re-bound as an attempted form of control from sexually(brainwashed) programmed males.

What is your source for this assertion?
Would that change your check? Odd.
I don't remember. Feel free to use any source - Wikipedia works.

Did the US keep the Bomb a secret from the Japanese from when it had the gun fission design in hand until it could drop the plutonium design on a city: _yes _no.

With that settled, its relevance to the topic of cowardice in American culture - especially gun culture - returns automatically.
