Then there's all of Gaetz's fellow creeps in the House who've talked about Gaetz showing them videos of him having sex with various women. They all expressed some form of "disapproval", of course:rolleye: (I think that's the right emoji, looks weird though), but none of them seemed to register that that in itself was a serious crime? Wtf?! (I mean, did they all consent to being filmed or the sharing of said footage?)

Then there's the trans woman who can't use the bathroom in the chambers, apparently. And it's always the trans women, they seldom seemto have issues about trans men.

This aspect alone is the most alarming. And that's not to diminish everything else--the racism and xenophobia, the criminality, the insanity of their "economic" policies--it's just more basic and primal. Women voted for Trump, whatever percentage, but do we even have any data on the prevalence of "trad wives" and that sort of idiocy in this country? This shit's scary, and while we may not be anywhere near Handmaid's Tale, we're definitely underway towards it. What's that quote about the slow creep of fascism, or something like that?
