Can diabetic medications cause excess muscle contractions?

Hello,

There can be more insulin available to diabetes T2 patients due to
hypoglycemic medications & injected insulin. Can this more insulin cause excess available energy or excess energy utilization to cells resulting into excess muscles exitability/contractions? If yes, Can these persistant excess muscle contractions trigger lower absorption or higher excretion of contractions causing minerals as CALCIUM? Can this trigger higher absorption & lower excretion of muscle's relaxation causing minerals as Mg? Can these persistant excess contractions cause disorders related to contracted conditions of muscles as low back pain, cramps etc.?

Best wishes.

*increased potassium uptake – forces cells to absorb serum potassium; lack of insulin inhibits absorption

*arterial muscle tone – forces arterial wall muscle to relax, increasing blood flow, especially in micro arteries; lack of insulin reduces flow by allowing these muscles to contract

Can Actions on cellular and metabolic level of insulin as given in above quoted link change muscle's tone esp in low back?

Hi spuriousmonkey.

I was here only, but since people indicated, no idea about my questions, I remained bit dormant.
