can an ip address b traced?

I don't know what mail system you are using, but there is an option in the preferences/settings that allows you to view the entire header and not just the short name, you'll have to tell us what email system you use and we'll tell you how to view the header.
Don't worry too much about your postal address, the worst that can happen is that they turn up, you can always refuse them entry or call the police if they hassle you.
It's quite easy to find someone without their postal address if you know the name of the town or district they live in and their full name, one girl on a hackers forum posted a message saying find me if you can and 2 days later got a phone call from someone that did their homework.
Most people know not to persue that type of behaviour.
Anyway, meet them in public a few times before giving away personal details, if you feel they are woth meeting.

Well in football(soccer), you can just kick your boot at someone... oh that ones been done in the news.
Erm... okay... If you cough really hard you could "hack up"... although I wouldn't advise doing this during mealtime as it will put off the whole family from eating.
You could brandish a very large overly sized knife and start "hacking" at some wood while inanely cackling to yourself, but don't blame me if you get bum rushed and dropped to the floor by a bunch of really big guys dressed in white jumpsuits brandeshing a straight jacket.
You could write long lengths of literature for internet magazines and become a "Hack".
Perhaps ride a horse on a "Hack".
