I wondering if anyone would like to surmise the possibilities and the practicabilities of say growing a field of potatoes for a space journey.
Maybe a field of potatoes is too earthbound to achieve in space but what technological applications could be applied to growing food in space.
I always thought rabbits, and fish tanks, algae, etc
but all these would have to be inside a craft.... wonder what I could put outside the craft ?
Any suggestions ?
