There are a bunch of places in the bible where the writers are all "And then a million egyptians attacked, and they fought them off with 100,000 men!"

Nevermind that these societies could never muster that many troops.

How do apologists apologize for these lies?

all life is but an illusion. millions seem like one and none seem like infinity. The purpose of Bible was not on mathematical or scientific principles...but philosophical ideology, lost in this ideology math has no value.

You know when Alexander crossed a desert with maybe 100,000 men, at the most (maybe 70,000?) he needed over 50,000 pack animals. And that was for four days in the desert. Four days.

Actually, I think the bible was nothing of the sort. It was a construction to reinforce the power mania of the then xian leaders. A glorified bit of propaganda. And about as worthless.

critical analysis should reveal that 5000 years of Earth creation and all other values are all but relative values. All but of philosophical ideology.

Judaean priests during Josiah's nationalist revival.
Then Ezra.
Then Nehemiah.
Then the Greeks.
Then Constantine.
Then the Masoretes.
