Hi, after a couple of years posting videos about science, I'm posting a series of videos about every book of the Bible... Not religious, just curious and informative stuff about a bunch of books we think we know a bit about but probably don't!

As someone who likes these forums, I think it will appeal... Many sceintiststhought I was crazy for doing it but have enjoyed the first few vids!!!

religious SPAM for SongofSongs?

Hi Dragon, I'd be disappointed if people found the bibledex videos "religious" as such...

Anyone who has seen my hundreds of chemistry and physics videos should find these equally interesting and impartial - just full of curious and amazing facts, be they archaeological, historical, trivial, theological, etc...

I'm just trying to make a bunch of videos about this really famous book that anyone will watch and say "oh, I actually didn't know that"...

eg: Boney M.'s "By The Rivers of Babylon" being based on the text of Psalm 137 or there being no reference at all in the Bible to "three wise men", etc.

And you mention Song of Songs - did you watch that video...? I found it amazing to learn there was a book in the Bible that is all about sex and how that has challenged people's literal interpretation of the Bible!

I've shown some of my most anti-religion scientist collaborators these videos (they find it quite amusing that I'm doing this) and so far they have all said they've been surprised and find them quite fascinating! They're even watching more of them behind my back!

I guess I'm making videos about the Bible that scientists would like, and just wanted to share a bit about it... not spam!
