I started the thread Bible Contradictions withour realizing that not all of the question I wanted to ask were about contradictions. I should like to put that right.
My objective is to pose questions which appear to me to have no logical answer and to see what explanations are offered.
This two-part question concerns Noah and the ark.
1. How could Noah have known that he had a full complement of animals. Would he have been aware, for example, that there were African and Indian elephants, marsupials in Australia, llamas in South America, penguins and polar bears to name a few.
2. How did the animals know when to turn up at the ark ? Was there a stampede or did just two of every species know something the others did not ?
