Barrier of dreams

I finally figured it out, the reason we can't just fly when we wish it or create objects out of thin air...well we can't do that because there is a barrier created before all of this to limit all these extra abilities.

It's not hard to fly, all you have to do is to fall and miss the ground.
 
I continually flap my arms up and down continually flying all over the place! Neighbors though think I'm very strange at times like that though. ;) :D

thing is I used to flap my wings too, wanting to fly...but ever since I fell from a sofa on my head it seems to me I just cannot fly just by wishing for it.

Thank God in Heaven and all his Holy Wisdom that I have an anus to act as a barrier against all the crap in my rectum flying out all over the place any damn time it gets a hankerin' to do so...

Who knows what manner of mayhem might elsewise arise at any given moment !

And why do you think that such abilities are physically possible barrier or no barrier?

What is this barrier that you mention? What is it made up of?

I'm interested because I lucid dream a lot and in those I have no restrictions reagarding flight. Again i can also manipulate matter in my dreams but not in this world, why?

well thats what I am saying...someone or perhaps we ourselves (unwillingly or willingly...) have made this world the way it is with restrictions to the will of the mind. I am saying that the reason we cannot fly is because of these restriction, because these so called laws of physics/universe root out of laws which were made. It is like an algorithm of a software being produced, and than algorithm limits the ability of software to act freely throughout.
 
Have you considered that when you dream and do these things it is only because it is a hallucinatory simulation created by your brain?

I think the barrier is called 'reality' once you hit this only whats 'real' can have practical use

OK nice, I see where your coming from. In all my travels I have not yet come across someone who has thought along these lines. It's as though most people can't breach this barrier of thought, I think their head explodes if they try and incorporate such a statement into their thought paradigms. Many will argue that what you see is what you get but I can't match that up with my own life experiences which has given me ample evidence of a bigger picture.

So you liken this world to an algorithm limiting the subjects capabilities.
I totally agree that this is a very plausable scenario. Have you thought about why these limitations are in place?

I can fly and breath under water in my dreams. I have no intention of trying it in the real world.
 
I can survive a 100 floor free-fall in my dreams. :D

I also had a dream of a communist United States. It was the USSA. (United Socialist States of America)
