yes. it's coming. second big storm in one week. it has already reached the wester parts of the country:cool:
Yet I can undertand most Americans, and Indians saying that 32 m/s isn't much, but here in Latvia it is very much and a lot of people are excited. some die.
it's so cool, when a force thundrstorm is hauling outside your window.

Oh, I suspect some electicity problems, so I might dissapear for some time if the lines are cut.
 
Oh man, Avatar, that is so cool. :) I really love Thunderstorms. If it was up to me I would go out and let the Storm rage around me in the open. :)

Electricity drops out yes, every so often when it is a good Thunderstorm. I couldn't care less about that. It is awesome to watch the Storm. I love it, can't get enough of it.

Enjoy it as long as it lasts. It is a spectacular "show". Wish there was a Storm here every day. I get loaded with energy by Storms.

Please people, don't start about the dangers of being in a Storm. I couldn't care less.

Danger is everywhere, so nothing special about it in the case of (Thunder)Storms...;)

Count me in as one who absolutely loves storms. It's great to sit out in the rain with the thunder and lightning all around and be drenched as you watch the storm.
 
I don't quite understand why one of my gfs loved the rain and the storms...I hate rain...especially if you are wearing nice clothing...and those puddles...:mad:

There is nothing I like better than to feel the air just prior to the rain when it is laden with ozone. To see and hear the lightning as it flashes and occasionally to see the hail come down...
 
I love just sitting out in the rain. Me and some friends when it rains just bring out a batter-operated cd player and blast some nice music as teh rain falls down.

I love sitting outside in thunderstorms.
smtimes I'm alittle afraid to get hit by a lightning, but I've smhow managed to avoid it.

btw, I'm not in Hawaii so I love rain:p
 
Sorry ~The_Chosen~. I have to say that being outside, in the rain, thunder and lightning is real cool. :)

And you are very right. I am a rain/storm lover from the start. It can't be going loud and heavy enough for me. No fear of it whatsoever. What can I say? I have this strange urge to go right to where the storm is. Energy is streaming through me all the way and almost sparkling from my fingertips. Loaded I get by it.

What makes you think it is different in Hawaii than it is where I live? Just curious.:)

I also love storms. There's all that electrical activity in the air, and all the motion and change and sound is like a song and music, or a play. And I find more wise comments and witty remarks coming out of storms than any people have ever spoken.

Okay, that's enough, back to being a cynical bastard now.

Right here! Sitting out in a thunderstorm and getting soaked is great, but so is slathering on enough sunscreen to drown a horse and lying out in the sun with a Long Island ice tea, a pair of sunglasses and maybe a good book. :)
 
Damn that storm. I'm in the South of England and it made my NTL broadband cut out at around midnight. I was trying to post something. I like storms though, it's just that one is going in my bad book.
 
Damn the Sun! :D It is so hot out here, I am nearly melting. Thunderstorm, oh Thunderstorm, release me from this heat!

I will not Rest In Peace, dear Chosen. :) I simply ride the Storm.

Guess now it is better to go look for the freezer, to safe myself from melting away by the heat. I prefer to be wet from the rain than to be wet of sweat.;)

Now, to go have a nice, cooling swim would bring a lot of relief. I love to swim when it is hot like it is now. See, always the love for water, somehow, comes back. What can I say? I am like that...:)
 
Yes Banshee, call for the lightning and your spirit will no longer be imprisoned...consider yourself lucky when you do get hit...:D
