Read the link. They have been requesting that the ban her office implemented on UN observers be lifted to allow an investigation to take place, "to no avail".You posted about what aid they may be delivering as an answer to what they had to say....
so... uhm.. what do they officially have to say about Aung San Suu Kyi actions or inactions?
Her government is also being urged to investigate human rights abuses, and to end the military actions against the ethnic minorities.
A meeting attended by US officials, as well as those from other countries, just before she gave her now never to be forgotten speech, resulted in her being urged to do more and to condemn the violence.
It is obvious that the US is not going to criticise her too much. The UK and other Western countries are not so polite and are criticising her lack of action. That is to be expected.
