i always thought asimo would be nothing more than a beer can on legs.

and depends on what kind of intellegence you mean, not the intelligence that can understand, but that can know and conclude and etc... and discover too maybe..

that's pretty impressive - especially when it identified the toy mini as a toy car - presumably having been shown other toy cars and understood the charateristics - it would be interesting to know if it can identify things in a heirarchical manner - i.e. that the toy mini is a subset of toy cars in general.

The really clever part would be if it could recognise a full sized mini from the model - or distinguish the similarities between a real mini and a german one
